Readers of our pages will quickly realise that we are a dynamic group working on exciting research programmes. The group's research focuses on engineering problems relevant to the fields of communications, high-speed electronics and manufacturing.

Our research approach is based upon the experimental investigation of novel materials and device concepts, supported by the development and application of advanced simulation and design tools.

In keeping with our engineering approach, we have developed long lasting links with industrial partners who provide strong support for our work. Our work continues to build on an impressive portfolio of design/simulation, fabrication, characterisation and reliability engineering activities developed over the last decade.
